Final Payment for Summer Camp Due

Scouts and Parents,

A reminder that final payment for summer camp is due at tomorrow night’s meeting!

This is a hard deadline as the Troop must submit payment to the camp by the end of this week.

As a reminder, total cost is $380 for the week at camp and most have paid a $100 deposit leaving $280 due tomorrow.

We will also begin collecting medical forms for camp this week.

Camp Yawgoog requires that all campers (Scouts and adults) submit a completed 2011 BSA med form. The BSA form is new (again) this year, so forms from prior years will not be accepted.  With over 1,000 Scouts, adults and staff in attendance at camp each week, we cannot accept attachments such as school med forms or printed records from your doctor in lieu of filling out the complete form.

If you are a parent considering supporting the Troop at camp this year, you will also require a BSA med form.  Even if you might attend camp, we recommend submitting a med form to the Troop.

The med forms are held by the Troop and submitted to the camp medical staff during checkin.  The Troop will have all Scout med forms returned at the end of camp.

The form must be completed in full and a copy of the front and back of your insurance card is required to be attached to the form.   Final date for med form submission is June 15.
