Painting Williams Hall

Scouts and Parents,

A reminder that we will be assisting the St. Mark’s Youth Group to paint Williams Hall this coming weekend.

St. Marks will be providing the paint, but is asking if volunteers can bring brushes, rollers, drop cloths, etc.

The painting will take place mostly on Saturday, March 21, from 9:00 am through 5:00 pm but the Youth Group coordinator has planned a prep session on Friday evening from 7:00-9:00 and a clean-up session (if needed) on Sunday morning from 10:00-Noon.

I will have a sign-up sheet at the meeting on Wednesday and ask that Scouts please sign up for either a 9:00-Noon block or a Noon-5:00 block on Saturday. (or both if you feel so inclined!) If any adults or Scouts would like to volunteer for Friday’s prep session or Sunday’s clean-up session in addition to the painting blocks, that would be great too.

Remember that St. Mark’s has been more than generous to Troop 591 over the years by letting us have free use of Williams Hall and a place for our storage shed. This is an opportunity to give back to the Church and help raise the visibility of our Troop and the good work that Scouting does with members of the Church community.

Please join us for some fun, camaraderie and service to the Church this weekend!
